What to Expect Now That the Mayan Calendar has Ended

October 31, 2011 in Future

Mayan CalendarAccording to Carl Johan Calleman, the Mayan Calendar ended last Thursday. Others think it will end on December 21, 2012. No matter what the point of view about the last day of the calendar, most spiritual teachers believe that the thirteen days from October 28 through November 11 mark a time of transition. I agree.

This period is being celebrated by Mayan elders as they perform a ceremonial pilgrimage across the United States with the Thirteen Crystal Skulls. These ceremonies, which were kept secret by the Mayans for years, are now being made public. The elders realize the prophecies told them to tell the world, especially the North American continent. Now is the time.

Along with these ceremonies, the Mayans have planned a a worldwide telecast from the Chichen Itza Temple complex in Mexico on December 21, 2012. The next fourteen months may be momentous for humanity.

Spiritual teachers are telling us to:

“Brace for the changes.”

“Remain alert.”

“Go within.”

“The time is at hand.”

I’m hearing the same message from so many different sources that I’ve started to wonder who is copying whom. Or maybe, just maybe, this time of oneness has so much intensity that each writer, each teacher, and each channel is receiving the same message.

Personally, I’m both energized and fatigued. Each report of financial challenge, protest tension, and technological advance creates excitement for the future and an almost overwhelming sense of awe.

Those who believe November 11 (11-11-11) is a special day forecast an increased ability to experience psychic gifts and see into “supernatural dimensions.”

What is the peaceful response in this time of uncertainty?

Don Alejandro, Mayan messenger to the world, has this to say regarding the changes forecast by his culture’s calendar.

“Let the morning come.

Let the dawn come.

Don’t be afraid.

Take this message and spread it to the world.”

From my perspective, his is a timely message for all of humanity, no matter when the Mayan Calendar ends.

As always, the peaceful response is to embrace the moment, walk away from fear, and walk into love.

This is good advice, especially in light of my next article when I will write about reports that push the limits of my understanding. I hope you’ll help me by providing your insight.

Power Too Cheap for Metering

October 31, 2011 in Future

Free energy has been a topic on this website for the past several weeks. Merlinda Pillsbury Arnold wrote about it when she saw amazing lights surrounding her during the night of the fall equinox. I wrote several articles that provided scientific evidence of how the technology for virtually free energy is already here. In addition, I speculated that, since the purest form of energy is love, it is possible that when our society learns to love, the technology will not be necessary because love will provide all of the energy that is needed for everything.

Until we learn to love purely, I think a peaceful response is to track the technological progress that allows us to do more with less. This article is about that.

There is a new technology that, according to this article by Mark Gibbs on the Forbes website, produces power too cheap for metering. Called E-Cat, this energy could create a world where:

  • We replace petroleum products with motive energy using steam engines or Stirling engines. We would be able to drive, fly, and ship across the country for pennies.
  • Gasoline prices would drastically decrease and petroleum would primarily be needed as the raw ingredient for plastics. This would make the United States self-sufficient for oil.
  • An E-Cat system could power your house or office making existing utilities systems obsolete.
  • The cost of manufacturing would fall very quickly

The impact on the shipping, transportation, oil, utility, and manufacturing industries would be massive. The reduction of the world’s dependence on oil would transform entire societies and governments. The decrease in the cost of manufacturing would reduce the cost of living worldwide.

Andrea Rossi Free EnergyThe energy system, developed by Andrea Rossi from Bologna, Italy was tested for a prominent and secret customer on October 28, 2011. The reports indicate the customer was pleased enough to invest in the system. He purchased it and took it with him, giving Rossi enough funds to continue his work for the next two years.

The remaining question is how long it will be until this innovative and inexpensive energy is available to the general public. Obviously, development will take time. In addition, inventors are encouraged, even paid, to keep these things hidden. If they don’t comply, they have been known to disappear so that is a possibility.

For me, the prospect of a technology that allows us to do more with less indicates that our world is moving closer to understanding the pure energy associated with love. This is encouraging. It represents progress.

I’ll keep reporting on this story for you. In the meantime, I suggest we all continue to tap into the pure energy that we call love.

I Love it When a Conspiracy Comes Together

October 30, 2011 in Spirituality

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of meeting a man, retired from the corporate world, who came to New Mexico to live off the grid in a safe environment. He’s hidden away in the mountains.

Our meeting was part the first step in a series of coincidences that have put together a spiritual teacher, a world-renown scientist, a large-equipment company, a film-production crew, and an archeological company that uses sacred geometry to find hidden treasures.

This team believes they have found ancient, mostly unexplored monuments in the Middle East.

Middle EastEven as I write this article, I feel like I’ve fallen asleep and reawakened in an Indian Jones movie.

The spiritual teacher saw a vision of certain items. This led to research that visually confirmed these items existed.

The archeological company used their knowledge of sacred geometry to discover other items in the area.

The large-equipment company agreed to assist in a dig to find these items.

The film production crew agreed to produce a documentary.

This crew mentioned they were working with a world-renown scientist who had just received funding to do a documentary in the same general area but didn’t know what the exact topic was going to be.

The corporate retiree, who is an expert at coordinating projects, recognized the synchronicities and determined that something big was brewing.

The team asked me to use my accounting expertise to assist them in managing the financial part of the project. As he explained his story, I realized I had just finished reading the two books written by the scientist.

I also recognized that their work could explain many ancient mysteries, including the origination of humanity.

As of today, everything is in the preliminary stages. I’ve been given permission to cover their story on Peace of Mind News as long as I don’t use real names until the situation has developed further.

I write today’s article for one reason.

It is to demonstrate how the Universe orchestrates our lives to fulfill our Desires and the Desires of those around us.

It is a Conspiracy for All! I’ll provide updates as I have new information.

I teach the Conspiracy for Me concept in Complete Peace of Mind Training. You may learn more by visiting The Peace of Mind Training Institute Website.

Mortgage Fraud is More Common Than You May Think

October 29, 2011 in Finance

The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court issued a momentous decision on October 18, 2011. This decision could be disastrous for the banking industry. It could produce a perfect storm that causes a derivative crisis, one that will make 2008 look like a walk in the park.

Their decision in FRANCIS J. BEVILACQUA, THIRD vs. PABLO RODRIGUEZ essentially made foreclosure sales in Massachusetts over the last five years wholly void.

Void ForeclosureYou may be thinking, “Yeah, so what?”

I suggest you think again.

This decision was necessary because banks, commercial lenders, and commercial investors often buy and sell mortgages on the open market. In addition, they buy and sell the servicing of these mortgages. All of this buying and selling requires underlying paperwork. Sometimes – maybe most of the time – this complex paperwork isn’t handled correctly.

Therefore, when a lender or mortgage servicer forecloses, it often doesn’t have the necessary paperwork to do so.

The Massachusetts SJC’s decision rules that it is illegal to sell a foreclosed house if the paperwork is not in order. And, since that impacts approximately two-thirds of the homes sold in Massachusetts during that time, this creates quite a mess for Massachusetts.

Let’s look at the implications. According to the ruling, when a house is foreclosed illegally:

  • The person who lost the home via foreclosure is still the owner.
  • The person who bought the home is not the owner.
  • The remedy is for the buyer to sue the bank.

Since the Massachusetts SJC is highly respected, other states will likely follow their logic. This creates quite a problem nationally. The estimated number of foreclosure transactions across the United States since 2008 is more than six million. Many of these homes were bought by investors and resold which means two parties suffered damages. The number of cases could easily exceed ten million.

Again, you may be thinking, “Yeah, so what? This doesn’t affect me. I haven’t been foreclosed on and I haven’t purchased a foreclosure.”

Again, I suggest you think again.

If you have a mortgage, do you know who owns it? Do you know who has the correct paperwork to administer your mortgage? If not, how can you be sure you will be able to sell your house if you need to do so? How can you be sure you will get a clear title when you pay the mortgage in full?

Do you realize that paying your mortgage if you don’t know the answers to these questions may be a fraudulent act?

Some legal experts are recommending their clients contact their mortgage company and request the paperwork on the history of the loan. Along with this request, they suggest telling the mortgage company that all future payments will be made to an individual’s savings account until the company provides clean paperwork.

This refusal to pay mortgages along with millions of lawsuits for botched foreclosures (The State of Delaware filed suit this week.) could very well be the perfect storm for the next banking crisis, especially if underlying derivatives are tied to the mortgages.

What do you see as other possible consequences of the court’s decision?

The Banks are Gambling with House Money

October 29, 2011 in Finance

The current gambling games being played by the banking industry are mind boggling. One game is so outlandish that, when it became popular in 2003, Warren Buffet called it a “financial weapon of mass destruction.” Certain banks, labeled as too big to fail, lost badly at this casino game in 2008, resulting in a need for bailouts via taxpayer funding.

This game is called derivatives.

Now, before your eyes glass over and your mind goes cloudy, I suggest you shake yourself awake and read this article. I’ll do my best to keep it simple because this topic is important, especially if you want to understand the cause of the next financial crisis, one that promises to impact us more intensely than the last one.

Derivatives are bets. These bets are hedges against investments going sour. An astute investor invests in something with the hope of the price increasing. Then, he purchases a derivative or bets that the price will go down. That way, he wins no matter what the price does. The bet has significant odds in the investor’s favor so it is highly leveraged. In other words, the derivative costs less than its value.

This practice has become a booming business. In fact, since they are highly leveraged with favorable odds for the investor, many gamblers – er…investors purchase derivatives as their only investment. Some estimates put the combined value of these bets at six hundred trillion dollars. That’s ten times the entire world’s Gross Domestic Product.

Do you see the problem?

If all of those derivatives came due at the same time, there wouldn’t be enough money in the world to pay them. Granted, this is unlikely to happen. It would take a perfect storm of events.

Of course, unlikely doesn’t mean impossible because this IS exactly what happened in 2008 when the mortgage crisis hit. That segment of the market suddenly lost value and all the related derivatives came due. The banks and insurance companies didn’t have enough money to pay their bets so they asked the government for help. (The documentary Inside Job tells this story. I don’t agree with its message of a need for increased government regulation. However, it does an entertaining job of explaining exactly what happened.)

Banks, insurance companies, and investors did not learn from the 2008 situation. They are repeating the same behaviors today. The situation is setting up for another crisis with the  difference being that, this time, the banks are manipulating the system to guarantee that the government will provide funding. Last time, they had to beg. This time, the bailout will be legal.

FDIC GambleAs a rule, derivatives are not insured by the FDIC because they are not deposits in a bank account. They are uninsured investments that can suffer loss. Bank of America recently found a way around this and transferred derivatives, valued at seventy-five trillion (YES – that’s with a T) from its investment bank arm into its depository arm. This was done upon insistence by the Federal Reserve and without approval of the FDIC.

If those derivatives fail, government will be responsible for an amount that is greater the world’s Gross Domestic Product.

Will they fail? They will if they, like in 2008, are tied to the mortgage market. I’ll explain why in my next article.

Complete Peace of Mind Training

October 28, 2011 in Future

My writings over the past weeks have pointed to a future of love. This is not a new idea for me. In fact, I’ve contemplated these ideas for years, truthfully, for my entire life.

During the early part of my life, this was a religious pursuit.

Then, in the late 1990s, I reached a spiritual crossroads. This intersection left me with two choices. I could continue down the religious path I was traveling or I could acknowledge the contradictions on that path that had led me in circles and go in a different direction. I choose the different direction. I selected a spiritual path.

I did not make this decision blindly.

I had undertaken my religious pursuit with what some would call uncommon vigor. Even though I never pursued ordination as a minister, I fulfilled that role on several occasions. I spent time every day – yes, every day – contemplating, studying, and discussing spiritual matters. When I had exhausted everything religion had to offer on those topics, I stepped outside that box and looked elsewhere.

I made this decision carefully. I looked at my experiences. I wrote about them. I organized them into a belief system that operated with complete integrity. This was not an overnight process. In fact, it took me almost ten years to complete.

I wrote a book about it. That book is Living the Southwest Lifestyle; How to Have and Maintain Peace of Mind. I presented seminars about it.

Complete Peace of Mind TrainingAs of today, those seminars are available for you to experience in the privacy of your own home in a program I call Complete Peace of Mind Training.

It is fourteen sessions with more than ten hours of information available to watch online or via DVD. You may click here to learn more.

When you visit that page, you’ll read the full story of the seminars, review testimonies from those who have experienced the material, and gain understanding of why Peace of Mind is so important.

I’ve put together this material for several reasons. First, my passion, my vision, my mission is to help bring peace. Second, I believe we are approaching a momentous time where we will live within the energy of love. This is the future I have written about over the past weeks. Complete Peace of Mind Training explains how to do this.

Complete Peace of Mind Training is jammed full of my personal stories and insights, presented with full color images. It includes a textbook and notebook to help you on your Peace of Mind Journey. It is everything you need to claim Peace of Mind for yourself.

Occupy Together Tensions

October 27, 2011 in World

There is violence lurking within the Occupy Together Movement. I don’t say this because this movement desires violence. They don’t. They desire discussion.

I say this because violence is the response of those who refuse to listen to the message of the movement. It comes from the police when they use projectiles on veterans or cloud people with teargas when they go to help the injured. It comes from mayors who claim the situation is escalating while they do the escalation. It comes from law enforcement and military members when there is dissension within the ranks.

Violence is encouraged when people put their heads in the sand and categorize the movement without looking at the full scope of the situation. They seem to think that if they criticize the movement they won’t have to face the truth of what the protestors are saying. These critics haven’t yet felt the crunch of what is happening so they think everyone else is exaggerating. They don’t realize that their lack of understanding contributes to the violent responses taking place in the United States.

Let’s look closer.

This week, police in Oakland responded with projectiles and tear gas against the peaceful protestors. An Iraqi veteran was critically wounded by the police. This YouTube video shows police officers firing tear gas into a group of young people who went to help an injured protestor.

The situation in Atlanta has become especially twisted as the city’s mayor first sided with the protestors and even issued an executive order to allow them to protest into November. Then, he found reasons to close down the protest and, according to some sources, has misrepresented his reasons for doing so. Now, he is claiming they are escalating the situation when, in fact, he is the one who reneged on his executive order and had the protestors arrested.

Meanwhile, officers in Albany defied orders from the Governor of New York and the Mayor of Albany and did NOT arrest the protestors. In a highly publicized confrontation in Times Square, a decorated Marine lectured NYPD on their actions. A blatant disobeying of orders by military and police is one of the early signs of revolution, especially one where those with the guns turn them on each other.

Tensions are mounting. Violence is increasing. What’s the peaceful response?

Become knowledgeable about the issues. Stay alert. Keep your heart at peace. Send light and love to those in the protests and envision a peaceful transition.

Change is on the horizon. That is inevitable. Violence doesn’t have to be a part of that change if each person takes the time to listen, learn, and love.

Heads in the Sand

October 27, 2011 in World

The Occupy Together Movement continues to occupy. This has become a sore spot for many people.

I watch as critics malign the movement. They say the occupiers are lazy. They claim they are troublemakers. They link the protesters to a wide variety of groups that support diverse and controversial agendas.

Ostrich head in the sandSome of these critics are media members. Others are my friends. I have noticed one thing about all of them. They have their heads in the sand. They refuse to go directly to the Occupy Together sources to understand what lives at the heart of the movement.

Instead, they cheer when arrests are made. They look the other way when rubber bullets and tear gas are used on peaceful protesters. They don’t realize that media members and legal watchdogs are threatened with arrest if they attempt to do their jobs while the police raid the Occupy camps to commit assault and destroy personal property.

The critics don’t understand that the heart of the Occupy Together movement is to figure out how to thrive within our current legal and financial systems. This is a long and difficult process. I’ve been attempting to do it for years through the writing in my books and on this website.

The deeper I look. The more layers I find.

There is something dreadfully wrong with our current system. We have an abundant world. However, it becomes more and more difficult to experience abundance. This difficulty isn’t about laziness. It is about a system that needs repair.

We may have to tear apart the system to fix it or it may fall apart by itself.

Those attempting to work within the current system have come up with innovative techniques. These bring moments of temporary respite. Then, these techniques make the situation worse.

That’s what happens when a patch is used on something that needs to be rebuilt.

Every Occupy Together critic I have talked with agrees with the premise of the movement – that there is something dreadfully wrong with our current system. However, the critics, unlike the protestors, don’t have the courage to do anything about it. They believe that as long as they can maintain their current lifestyle today, everything is OK.

They think they are living in the moment. They think this is a peaceful response.

It isn’t.

Living in the moment requires us to recognize the symptoms of our world today. A peaceful response means finding the most efficient way to relieve those symptoms. This is what the Occupy Together movement is attempting to do.

The question is, will this happen peacefully, through discussion, or will it require violence that includes rioting in the streets, the collapse of the financial system, or some other drastic events.

American cities are teetering on the edge. Drastic events may be on the horizon.

I’ll tell you why I think so in my next article.

Things That Make Me Go HMMMM

October 26, 2011 in Opinion

Pondering CatAs I have explained in other places on this website, when I write for Peace of Mind News, I write about topics that interest me. In many cases, they confuse me. They cause me to go HMMMM.

With my confusion comes an unease that I must reconcile. Therefore, when a topic appears on my radar, I am compelled to write about it. I must see it, investigate all the angles, and explore it via any sources I can find.

As I have done this to write about Occupy Together, illegals drugs, UFOs, finances, and other topics, I’ve discovered a common thread.

There is a truth. This truth is used by those in power (The Establishment) to get and keep power. Then, this truth is hidden or ruled illegal so that those in power can prevent citizens (The People) from using it. If The People attempt to uncover the truth or discuss why something is labeled “illegal,” The Establishment calls it a conspiracy theory and implies that The People are crazy.

Let’s look at a few examples.

Occupy Together – The People are protesting because numerous financial and legal issues need addressing. The Establishment knows about these problems and realizes that the solutions require drastic actions that they don’t want to implement. Therefore, they discredit Occupy Together by linking it to fringe elements or arresting the protestors, many times without charging them for anything.

Drugs – The People and The Establishment use drugs for medicinal, recreational, and spiritual purposes. The Establishment use uses tax dollars to regulate the supply and use of the drugs. The Establishment maintains the supply of the drugs and profits from the sale of them. In addition, The Establishment profits from providing security and weapons for illegal drug suppliers.

UFOs – The People report seeing UFOs and encounters with ETs. The Establishment either issues statements that explain away the experiences or, more likely, they ignore the reports. In the instances where The Establishment has information on the topic, they claim it cannot be released for security reasons.

Financial – The People struggle under a significant load of personal debt. Even though The People may have benefitted from the use of the debt, the access to this credit was pushed upon The People so that The Establishment could propagate a fiat money system based upon government debt. This fiat money system gives The Establishment the ability to control how The People use time. It must be exchanged for revenue to pay The People’s debt. This revenue is taxed by government to pay its debt.

Some theories claim that this debt can be removed through the application of certain laws. When The People attempt to learn about these laws, The Establishment neither confirms nor denies them. Sometimes, The People are successful in getting the debts removed. Other times, The People push the law too far and they end up arrested by The Establishment.

Mortgages – The People use mortgages to acquire houses. The Establishment uses these mortgages to create trading and financial instruments. The Establishment trades these instruments as currency in their business transactions. This destroys the rights of the mortgager and the mortgagee, making many of today’s current mortgages fraudulent. Apparently, The Establishment does not understand the rules of the game it has created. Some of The People are keeping their homes and walking away from the mortgage. (A lot has happened with this topic in the past week and I’ll devote an entire article to it in the next day or so.)

I will continue to visit these topics in an attempt to gain clarity about them and, of course, respond from a peaceful response.

My Mortgage Company Serves Me Waffles

October 26, 2011 in Finance

I wrote previously about our experiences in attempting to acquire a modification on our home mortgage. If you missed it, you may read that story here.

A couple nights ago, I received another call from my mortgage company.

“Mr. Cox, when may we expect your past due payment?”

I encouraged the representative to look at the notes on the account.

I told him we would not make a payment until they had sent us the paperwork for the loan modification.

I explained to him that we had filed the modification application more than six weeks ago and, the last time someone called, I had been promised we would have the modification paperwork in 5-7 business days. I had even been quoted interest rates and payment amounts.

The representative put me on hold and came back to tell me that the previous representative made a mistake and I would have to wait until the account was eighty days past due and no longer in good standing.

“That’s odd. The previous representative told me two weeks ago that not making a payment for thirty days would revoke the good standing of the account and allow you to negotiate with me.”

“He made a mistake.”

“How do I know you aren’t making a mistake today?”

“I apologize for the earlier mistake.”

WafflesI smiled. They had waffled on me.

This was becoming a game. I decided I could wait as long to make the next payment as they could wait to give me the modification.

I didn’t feel an iota of remorse about playing this game. I was negotiating in good faith, explaining precisely what I was going to do and what they could do to get me to do what they wanted me to do.

Apparently, this confused them.

Or, maybe they didn’t care that they had a mortgage on their books that was upside down by more than two hundred thousand dollars.

I considered what my attorney friend, Ana, had told me during our conversation.

“Your signed Promissory Note is a negotiable instrument that the bank sold to another bank or the Federal Reserve through the ones and zeros, the electronic transfer of funds. The lender has already been paid. In most cases, the servicing company doesn’t have the legal right to foreclose or enforce the terms of the loan because the document you signed has been sold and used as a negotiable instrument. The servicing company only has the servicing contract. They don’t have the actual note.”

I didn’t know if that was true or not. However, the servicing company was beginning to act like it was.

Was the threat of foreclosure an empty threat? Would they give me my promised modification? How long would it take?

I’ll let you know as soon as I know myself.
