Sometimes the Truth is Difficult to Accept
October 11, 2011 in Spirituality
My spiritual journey has taken me along a diverse path. I’ve experienced traditional, conservative Christianity without miracles. I’ve witnessed and experienced the joy and expression of the charismatic movement, complete with astounding healings, supernatural voices, and exorcisms. I’ve spoken with Native American teachers, studied with numerous spiritual advisors, and heard direct messages from, what I believe was, God herself.
I never considered that I would encounter aliens on my spiritual journey.
Now, I must admit that I have and this is uncomfortable for me.
When I was on the Christian part of my journey, I believed that anything supernatural outside of a direct communication from God and not confirmed through the Bible, was evil. Now, I understand that God is all and all is God. In addition, I know that evil is the filter I put upon a part of God that I associate with an uncomfortable feeling.
I still have an uncomfortable feeling writing about aliens, extraterrestrials, and UFOs. However, I cannot deny my experiences. Some I’ve already written about and some I will write about in the future. If I fall back on my old belief that the Bible is the word of God, I have to admit that several passages describe these beings. The most obvious is the first part of Genesis Chapter 6 which describes something that wasn’t quite human and wasn’t quite God that existed prior to the great flood.
Practically every culture references non-human entities in their mythology. In many cases, the stories are so similar that one has to wonder if the myths are more fact than fiction. This becomes especially relevant when we consider who built the pyramids and how they were built. This includes pyramids in Egypt and other parts of the world including Peru, Mexico, and China. And, if we look at Richard Hoagland’s research, it appears they built similar structures on the Moon and Mars too!
Much of the evidence points to something otherworldly. A Mexican government official recently announced that Mexico is releasing secret documents to be used in a film that show the Mayans, who built pyramids, had contact with extraterrestrials. UFO sightings are so common that entire websites are built to document them.
Recently, I met a team of explorers and archeologists who showed me images on Google Earth of amazing relics in the Egyptian Desert. This team has scoured the Earth for years and has never seen anything like them. In addition, their initial research, including contacts in Egypt, provides no answers for these relics.
There are certainly many unanswered questions that would be answered if we accepted pure potential as the reality.
I’m learning to do this through a new book I’m reading. I’ll tell you about that book in an upcoming article.
Has your perspective changed recently regarding ETs and otherworldly beings? If so, leave a brief summary of your experience below.
