Growing Softly Stronger

October 25, 2011 in Opinion

I hope you don’t mind, but this is personal.

In the fall of 2010, almost a year ago, our family came to face to face with a harsh reality. Open conversations about controversial topics combined with hugs and occasional nudity is cause for criminal accusations. We watched as law enforcement and the media took a few elements and spun them into a story that still isn’t resolved.

My wife and I were arrested, indicted, and jailed for six weeks as our younger children were ripped from the home – we haven’t seen them since then – and our older children held the family businesses together. Friends arrived to support us and never stopped. They assisted with bond money, helped with legal fees, worked in our businesses, and provided significant emotional support.

Today, we move forward carefully, with a completely different perspective of law enforcement, mainstream media, and the legal system.

Last fall, I had no idea what to expect when the handcuffs went on my wrists. The only thing I knew immediately was that I had to write a book because my writing muse began dictating pages to me.

If there were any doubts, they quickly went away when, a few hours later, my daughter told me that several friends had already told her I would write a book about my experiences. One even told her it would be a best-seller!

Growing Softly StrongerSo, write is what I did. The result was a novelized version of those events that started last fall. The book’s title is Growing Softly Stronger in the Cracked Places; A Time of Challenges and Miracles. Today is the official release date of the book.

I’d be honored if you got a copy for yourself. The easiest way to do that is at Amazon. The links at the book’s (SoftlyStronger.com) website take you to the order page.

Growing Softly Stronger in the Cracked Places was the easiest book I have ever written. The words poured through me from my writing muse. I only had to listen, write, and learn. As a result, I know my message is timely, relevant, and part of each reader’s destiny.

Those who have read the book say they can’t put it down until they finish reading! Many tell me they turn around and immediately begin to read the book again so they can gain insights they may have missed the first time around.

Other authors, who have learned of the book, are so excited about its message that many have offered gifts when you get your copy through Amazon today. They believe it should be a best-seller because its message is one each person needs. It is a message for today’s world.

It genuinely demonstrates how to respond to news and life from a peaceful perspective.

I invite you visit the website and get your copy.

Best wishes on your Peace of Mind Journey and may you always be growing softly stronger in your cracked places.
