How This Will End

I ended my last article by saying we don’t have to panic about being at war because we know how this ends. A couple of people took me to task and said we don’t know how this ends until the end.
I stand partially corrected.
It is true we don’t know HOW this will end. We don’t know the exact steps to get there.
However, I believe we KNOW the ending. Dozens of prophetic sources and a huge percentage of spiritual teachings say that we reconnect with the Divine and the Universe into oneness.
If you look within yourself, you know this too. Take the time to meditate or pray or practice any other type of spiritual discipline and you will find an energy that connects you with all of creation.
This reconnection is humanity’s sole struggle.
We struggle with it every time we disagree with someone. We struggle with it every time we perceive we have an enemy. We struggle with it when we think we are at war.
How will we reconnect and stay connected?
Currently we live within a five-step journey:
- Disconnect
- Notice the disconnection and long for the connection
- Seek a way to reconnect
- Reconnect
- Repeat the cycle
Ken Wilber says, “The directions to finding God, which are printed on the box in which your heart came, are simple.”
Unfortunately, we have been sold a bill of goods by those who take that simplicity and attempt to articulate it in the human language and, by doing so, make it complex. Therefore, we spend most of our time in steps 1 through 3, and a few people occasionally experience step 4.
We are so focused on the differences between groups that we remain disconnected. Some individuals reconnect temporarily. However, for most, this is difficult and complex.
I believe we are entering a time when this complexity will once again be simplified. The veil between dimensions is thinning so much it has holes in it. Spiritual portals are opening. This is the shift forecast by ancient prophecies. Some people, including me, believe this will allow more people to get to step 4 and not have to repeat the cycle.
That is what I mean when I say we know “how this will end.”
Even though I’m confident of the end, I don’t know exactly HOW we will get there. Obviously, before we can arrive at step 4, we must go through step 2 and that is where we are today. The disconnection is coming into our awareness. We must recognize the separation and long to reconnect before we can reconnect with all.
That is what I’m exploring in these writings. I’ll continue that in my next article when I look at the issues behind the Occupy Movement and explain why there is War in America.
