The World’s Biggest Applecart

April 30, 2012 in Finance, United States, World

What we believe determines what we say and what we do. Therefore, if we are to understand how we got to where we are as a society, we need to identify those beliefs. Then, if we want to change our society, we will need to change our beliefs.

This is why I have taken several days to talk about upsetting and resetting applecarts (belief systems). I know that evaluating belief systems is a critical part of conscious living. To me, it feels like spring cleaning for the soul.

Yesterday, I took a look at how my belief system concerning 9/11 has evolved over the years. This article continues that look.

I believe our perception of 9/11 will determine how we vote in the upcoming elections. It will determine whether we participate in the new financial system with resistance or acceptance.

In fact, I have observed that one’s perception of that day often determines a person’s entire world view.

Therefore, it is critical to understand what happened that day….

…and what didn’t happen.

This brings me back to Judy Wood’s work.

World Trade Center dustDr. Wood’s presentations of the information from 9/11 is methodical and thorough. (If you want to see them for yourself, search her name on YouTube. There are numerous videos of her presentations.) She points out that the twin towers transformed into powder. She shows videos of building parts changing to dust on the way to the ground. She shows images of automobiles that spontaneously caught fire that day, some of them on the opposite side of Manhattan.

This mystery of the buildings turning to powder is not unfamiliar to those who followed this story. This video from mainstream media contains numerous questions about what happened to the hundreds of thousands of tons of building materials that converted into powder before landing on the ground.

Judy’s presentation, using The Socratic Method, eliminates many of the initial ideas about 9/11. For example, if bombs, thermite, or fire had felled the towers, there would have been a pile of building materials left.

There wasn’t.

There was only powder and paper.

Even though Dr. Wood only presents information, she certainly has her critics. In fact, when I first mentioned her name on this website, a comment showed up, almost immediately, criticizing her work. This detractor pointed me to a discussion group where a heated debate was taking place over whether or not Judy’s conclusions were valid.

As I reviewed the discussion, I realized those people hadn’t read or listened to her work. Or, if they had, they didn’t understand it.

They were claiming Dr. Wood’s conclusions are unsupportable. However, Judy doesn’t draw conclusions. She asks questions, based on the evidence, to help the listener form his or her own opinions.

Other critics say the buildings could not have fallen the way she says they fell.

Dr. Wood’s response is to ask if the buildings are still there. After all, she is only observing what happened.

The more I studied the evidence presented by Dr. Wood, the more I came to realize that we don’t know exactly what caused the buildings to fall. Judy admits that she doesn’t know either. She just knows that, based on the evidence, it wasn’t fire, thermite, or bombs.

Therefore, it must be something else.

The exploration of this something else must take place if we are to understand the ramifications surrounding this pivotal point in our modern history.

I will continue this exploration tomorrow.

Resetting the Applecarts

April 29, 2012 in Finance, United States, World

An upset applecart isn’t the worst thing in the world, especially in my case. After all, I don’t literally have a cart full of apples. My applecarts are my beliefs; the things I thought were true.

When an individual has his or her beliefs upset, there are numerous ways to respond, just as there are numerous ways to respond when a real applecart is upset.

Reset applecartA person can complain, blame, seek revenge, and leave the apples splayed across the ground. Or, a person can pick up the cart and reload it. With the latter choice, this allows the individual to inspect the apples, throw out the bad, and keep the good.

This is true for belief systems too.

9/11 provides a good example.

In 2001, I was still relying on mainstream media for my news. Therefore, I believed the official story that the heat from jet fuel felled the towers. I believed that Al Qaeda was responsible. I believed the war on terror was necessary.

Then, I started to hear questions. Had fire ever taken down another high-rise building? Where did Al Qaeda receive its funding? Who benefited the most from the war on terror?

The answers upset my beliefs about the media.

Fire had never caused another high-rise building to fall. There was no evidence that fire was the cause for the falling of the towers. In fact, there was evidence that something else caused the building to disappear.

Al Qaeda was funded by the CIA. The organization had been initiated and sponsored by United States Government organizations.

Oil companies, banks, and military benefited the most from the war on terror. President Eisenhower had warned us to beware of the Military Industrial Complex. Now, I understood this warning.

In my search to uncover what removed the towers, I stumbled upon Judy Wood’s research. Last fall, when I read it for the first time, I couldn’t understand it. She referenced the possibility of energy sources that were unfamiliar to me.

More accurately, I didn’t believe they existed.

Then, I began to meet people who could explain them to me. Richard Hoagland showed up at our home for Thanksgiving. Over pie, I listened to him debate a scientist from a local federal laboratory. I learned a lot.

I read books that introduced me to Nikola Tesla. I viewed videos that demonstrated remarkable technologies. My family and I witnessed a UFO fly overhead while we had dinner on our back patio.

These experiences upset my beliefs about science.

Then, I noticed that government and banking didn’t work the way I believed they worked. I saw injustices and police state actions that violated the United States Constitution. I saw law enforcement seizing property without due process. I saw banks foreclosing on homes illegally.

These observations upset my belief about government and finance.

My response has been to attempt to reconcile my recent upsets to my belief systems caused by those answer, experiences, and observations; to attempt to reset my applecarts.

I have a friend who says this is a problem with mankind. We won’t allow chaos to exist. We must have an explanation for everything. Therefore, we create order out of chaos. Often, this leads us to develop intricate theories to explain the unexplainable.

This may be true. However, I don’t yet believe that.

I believe there is a Divine order to things. I say this because the evidence I see around me in nature demonstrates this divine order. I wrote about this in November.

Today, I believe this more than ever because, in my efforts to reset my applecarts, I have found apples I didn’t know existed. These new beliefs have opened my mind to new possibilities.

These new possibilities provide hope of a better world and a grander future. I would not have found these new possibilities if my applecarts hadn’t been upset. Therefore, I am grateful for those upsets and for the opportunity to create order out of chaos.

I’ll continue these thoughts during tomorrow’s article.

More Upset Applecarts

April 28, 2012 in United States, World

Upset ApplecartNow that my applecarts are upset, it is difficult to know what is true and what isn’t.

This morning, like yesterday morning, I was rolled out of bed, almost literally, at 5 a.m. by a sonic boom. At least I knew to expect it – thanks to a post from a local radio station.

The White Sands Missile Range spokesperson said the F-16 was flying at about Mach 4 speed, at fifty thousand feet, on the way to launch a supersonic target (a missile?).

This raises questions.

All the online sources I found said the top speed of that plane is Mach 2.5. Can an F-16 now fly faster than its maximum speed? Is this new technology or did the spokesperson misspeak?

If the target is a missile, and I assume it is because I don’t know of anything else an F-16 can launch, what are the staff down at White Sands using in an attempt to shoot down that target?

Furthermore, is the target emulating intercontinental missiles or alien weaponry or something else?

Again, we are left to consider what is true and what isn’t.

Here is another example.

Were the protests in Ecuador an uprising of the general population or is some powerful influence practicing the exploitation of what my friend calls “useful idiots?”

“Useful idiots” are impassioned people used by a powerful person to accomplish the powerful person’s agenda, which is often the direct opposite of the impassioned people’s agenda. For example, my friend thinks the Occupy Wall Street movement is funded by George Soros, who staffs the movement with useful idiots for his purposes.

What is really going on here?

When I read this story about Charles Taylor, I wonder if he really did what he was convicted of or if he was portrayed as a war lord and taken down because he wouldn’t cooperate with United States’ efforts to pillage his country and loot its resources.

I hadn’t followed the story so I did a little research. Sure enough, I found a story that indicated he worked with the CIA, although the relationship was unclear.

Is it possible that his conviction came because he quit working with them?

Then, there is Michael Ruppert. Ruppert is a former LAPD narcotics investigator who lost his job because he successfully traced the Los Angeles narcotics problem to drugs supplied by the CIA. He claims America’s war on drugs is really a way to use taxpayer dollars to develop a massive drug business.

He asserts this for two reasons.

First, he witnessed his ex-fiancé – who was a CIA agent – oversee the exchange of United States weapons for South American drugs in New Orleans. He reported this information to his superiors at LAPD and to friends who worked for federal government agencies. His information was ignored, the LAPD labeled him crazy, and unknown snipers shot at him.

Second, the war on drugs started in 1972 with a budget of 101 million dollars. Today, the budget is more than twenty billion dollars and there are more drugs, they are less expensive, and they are of better quality. The simplest workable explanation for this situation is that the war on drugs is a façade for building a massive government drug business.

In the midst of considering what is true and what is untrue, I came across this 2007 story from the Idaho Observer. It ties Adolph Hitler to Nikola Tesla to Curious George to George Bush.

It sounds too bazaar to be true. Or does it?

It is difficult to tell when applecarts are upset.

As I was about to finish this story, I decided to see if I could find any additional info on The Story That Won’t Go Away. Sure enough, Scott from The Hyper Report had this to say on today’s report.

I am just thinking here folks; however, I wonder with all of the hoopla about all of the scandals of the Secret Service… Is it possible that Obama, and others, are orchestrating this scandal to replace Secret Service members, who are bound to the U.S. Constitution, with an elite TSA like goon squad?

That’s another angle to consider.

Now that my applecarts are upset, I find myself questioning everything. I believe this is healthy. In fact, it is the first step to returning the applecarts to upright position.

I’ll write about that process tomorrow.

Upsetting My Applecarts

April 27, 2012 in United States, World

I experienced a wave of energy from an external source at five o’clock this morning. I heard it and felt it. The windows shook. It upset my dreamland applecart.

I figured it was a sonic boom.

My online research confirmed my guess. Local media had advance warning of it.

If you hear a loud boom early Friday morning it’s only a supersonic target launched from 50,000 feet about 30 miles south of Albuquerque breaking the sound barrier as it speeds toward an impact zone at White Sands Missile Range. It’s part of a Navy test for an airborne early warning and control system and should happen between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.

I read the snippet of info several times because it was the only online mention I could find about this early morning explosion. It was so cryptic that it didn’t really tell me what it was.

As I wrote about the first one, I experienced it again. Like the first one, it was followed by what sounded like the sound of a passenger jet flying overhead. My wife and I went outside to see what we could see.

It looked like an “abnormal airplane” and produced a contrail going north to south.

I came back and read the media description again and realized that the only detail that may have been accurate was the 50,000 feet. I live about ten miles east of Albuquerque. The flight path and the resulting contrail were directly overhead. Obviously, whatever it was originated this part of its flight from northeast of Albuquerque.

I still have no idea what the Navy was really testing and why it had to be done so early in the morning. However, it capped a week that has left my head spinning and, as of this morning, my ears roaring.

Upset ApplecartIt has also upset a lot of my applecarts.

It seems that everywhere I turn; I’m learning that much of what I thought to be true isn’t.

Over the past few weeks, I have read several of John Perkins’ books. Perkins worked as an Economic Hit Man. His insights and experiences provide a solid foundation for understanding how United States corporations have, with the assistance of the United States military, pillaged the natural resources of other countries.

I once thought the United States was the world’s leader in freedom. I thought this nation stood for democracy and individual freedom. Now, I realize that my thoughts had been carefully programmed through my education and the media. The reality is that America hides behind those ideas of freedom while pilfering other countries. This upsets one of my applecarts.

Earlier this week, I listened to a presentation by Judy Wood. Dr. Wood has undergraduate degrees in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering. She has a master degree in Engineering Mechanics (Applied Physics) and a PhD in Materials Engineering Science. She recently released her book Where Did the Towers Go? Evidence of Directed Free-energy Technology on 9/11.

I am several years past believing that an airplane fuel fire felled the towers. The best explanation I had heard was thermite or bombs. Wood’s work upsets those applecarts by providing volumes of evidence that the World Trade Center Towers were “dustified.”

She doesn’t have evidence that shows who did it and how it was done. However, she does provide enough data to eliminate airplane fuel, thermite, and bombs as possible sources for the destruction of the buildings on that September day in 2001.

Dr. Wood has filed lawsuits in an attempt to present her evidence in a legal environment. However, no judge will give the evidence hearing. It seems that no one is willing to be the next potential target of this “dustification” technology.

If that wasn’t enough, the other pieces of information I encountered this week shook my belief system even more and turned over several other personal applecarts. I’ll write about those in tomorrow’s article.

Today’s Crossroad

April 26, 2012 in Finance, United States, World

Tuesday’s article resulted in a brief exchange with David DeGerolamo, from the NC Renegade website. He was the only person in the United States I could find, other than me, who was writing about Monday’s closing of the Russian Trading System (RTS). Therefore, I linked to his site.

I misinterpreted the meaning of one of his articles so he corrected me. (Thanks David!)

Then, we talked more about Russia. Here is what he said.

I believe the lines are being drawn. Based on my information from multiple sources, a combined US/Israeli attack will be made at night on the new moon on May 20th. The US is requesting 2500 private contractors (mercenaries), the intelligence officers were sent to the area 3 weeks ago and the naval forces are in place. Iran has a treaty with Russia so this will quickly spread to a world war if this happens. The point is that war is the only way to postpone the economic collapse.

David isn’t the only one who believes this will happen.

This story from Pakalert Press says Russia already has a response plan in place should Western nations attack Iran.

Many of my other sources think the war will not happen.

However, we all agree with David on one point. War is the only way to postpone the collapse of the current economic system. It has been this way since at least the 1930s.

John Perkins, bestselling author of Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, explains how it works.

As a Chief Economist, I produced impressive reports that appeared legitimate, but my real job was to deceive and plunder the Third World through working as an Economic Hit Man (EHM)

EHMs most common task is to identify countries with resources our corporations covet. Then, we seduce, bribe, and extort their leaders into exploiting their own people–accepting loans the countries can never repay, privatizing their national assets, legalizing the destruction of fragile environments, and finally selling those coveted resources to our corporations at bargain prices. When the leaders resist, they are overthrown or assassinated by CIA-sponsored jackals.

On the few occasion when covert efforts fail, as in Iraq and Afghanistan, the military swings into action.

That country’s assets are used to prop up the fiat financial system we have today. Once that country’s assets are looted, another one is selected.

As I have written previously, Iran is next in line.

Iran has refused to cooperate with the United States and its allies’ economic manipulation. Therefore, economic sanctions have been put in place. Iran is not allowed to trade on the SWIFT system. This means it can’t send dollars electronically. This makes international trade extremely difficult.

Iran has thumbed its nose at these sanctions. It is now allowing other countries, especially those in the BRICS group, to purchase oil with gold.

This does a couple of things.

It avoids the sanctions.

It weakens the United States dollar because the value of the dollar comes from it being the only currency that can purchase oil.

A war in Iran would temporarily enforce the sanctions and temporarily extend the dollar’s relevancy. However, it would only postpone the inevitable.

CrossroadsA new financial system based on equity and not based on debt is around the corner. We can accept this and work to implement it without resistance.

Or, we can resist it and go to war.

What is the peaceful response?

Going Down the Big Hill

April 25, 2012 in Finance, World

If we put the pieces together, we can easily track the event the led up to Monday’s closing of the Russian Trading System (RTS).

It started Sunday in France when President Nicolas Sarkozy lost the first round in the French election. This doesn’t yet mean he has lost office. However, the situation doesn’t look good for his continued presidency.

Then, on Monday, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte suddenly resigned.

This one-two punch caught Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel in the gut as she realized she may lose two key allies in her effort to maintain economic stability in Europe. Germany, led by Merkel, has been the kingpin in attempts to keep the Euro relevant.

Roller coasterThe changes in France and The Netherlands may mean that the solidarity of those who are attempting to prop up the European economy through printing fiat currency is falling apart. These two events powered the European markets to the top of the big hill and may have pushed it over the edge.

This appears to be the message received by those trading in the European stock markets Monday when European companies lost more than one hundred twenty billion pounds in value.

I also believe this message was received by the RTS as commodity prices collapsed during Mondays trading.

My opinion is that lots of shares were sold. Besides driving down prices, this overloaded the system and created an emergency so big that RTS had to cease operations for the day.

This is not unprecedented.

Software programs, built within the stock exchanges, do not allow trading when certain market conditions are met. In most cases, these halt trading for a few minutes, usually on a selected stock or two. In dire conditions, they literally close the doors by preventing all trading.

This is designed to protect the investor so that he or she doesn’t lose too much too quickly in a sudden selling of shares. Of course, it also gives the exchanges time to manipulate the market or find government and institutional investors to prop up the market and adjust the charts so that things don’t look so bad when it reopens.

I suppose this shut down could close the doors for good if those investors can’t be found.

I believe this is what happened in Russia Monday. This time, the investors were found and the market reopened on Tuesday.

No, there is no official story to support my theory.

However, there are indicators that this is true.

One indicator is Russia’s purchase of more than sixteen tonnes of gold last month. An increase in gold purchases usually means a less stable stock market as funds leave it. Europe’s news took down an already weak Russian market. International markets are connected and markets in one country often affect markets in other countries.

To me, the biggest indicator is that the RTS story was ignored by both media and government in an effort to make this a “non-story.” If the goal was to downplay this event and if mainstream media was complicit in this effort, this is exactly what they would have done. The only story I have found beyond the stories I linked in yesterday’s article is this one from The Moscow Times. It claims the backup system failed.

This means the main system failed too. Otherwise the backup system failure wouldn’t have been noticed. My question is, “What caused the failure?”

The lack of detail available in the reporting of this chaotic situation speaks volumes.

Of course, it is possible this is a non-story. It is possible that Sunday and Monday’s happenings had nothing to do with the RTS suspending trading. It is possible the RTS data wasn’t manipulated and the value wasn’t propped up by government and institutional investors in an effort to demonstrate stability in an unstable market.

However, if that’s the case, we would need another explanation for Monday’s closing and, so far, nobody is providing one. Until they do, I suggest you hang on tightly because this roller coaster ride has just begun.

An Emergency Situation

April 24, 2012 in Finance, World

I’ve written several times on this website about why investing in paper such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds is a bad idea if you wish to keep your money. I have formed this opinion because my research and my experience show these investments offer small rewards and hidden risks.

Yes, I realize that Certified Financial Planners and other trained and licensed advisors – those who make money only when someone invests – claim they can show you how to reduce risks and maximize rewards. However, their perspective is so narrow they often ignore the big picture.

For example, they don’t look at risks that go with releasing the control of your assets to someone else. Moreover, if they are advising you on a retirement account, they don’t mention that placing your assets in a retirement account gives the IRS legal control over your assets.

I’ve written previously about those risks.

However, I haven’t written about the hazards associated with an emergency situation.

In fact, if yesterday’s situation in Russia is any indication, it seems that no one really understands those risks.

Closed SignAround midday yesterday, I started seeing mentions of a story on the ZeroHedge website regarding the Russian Trading System (RTS). It said the Russian Stock Market will not reopen.

I hadn’t heard of the RTS so I did a little research. I discovered the RTS is the equivalent of the NASDAQ system in the United States. I also learned that the majority of Russian equities trading is conducted there.

I assumed this would be a huge story so I waited for other news outlets to report it.

They didn’t.

I nosed around the internet and – other than a few bloggers who were writing about the ZeroHedge story – I found nothing.

One blogger speculated that the closing was tied to this story about European companies losing more than one hundred billion pounds in value yesterday. (See the comment section of this article for what the referenced blogger really meant.)

However, even that story from The Telegraph didn’t mention the closing of the RTS.

I went to sleep thinking that something would be in the news this morning.

I found nothing to explain the situation exception two cryptic stories.

One from Reuters and another from Bloomberg: each story was the shortest financial story I had even seen written on their sites. Either they knew nothing or they are hiding everything.

There was also an explanation from RTS apologizing for the situation and saying steps were being taken so it wouldn’t happen again.

The implication was that this was some kind of computer glitch, perhaps a hardware or a software malfunction. However, they didn’t explain what caused the hiccup.

The absence of news about this situation speaks volumes.

If I had money in the market, anywhere in the world, I would pull it out immediately. The current situation is so tenuous that, based on yesterday’s events, it can disrupt a resilient computer network, close a major stock exchange, and tie investors’ hands while their assets disappear.

In addition, it can make the world’s media outlets, the ones that pride themselves on astute financial reporting, completely deaf and dumb.

What is going on here?

If today’s lack of reports is any indication, I doubt mainstream media will give us an explanation about yesterday’s events. Therefore, I’ll explain what I think happened in tomorrow’s article.

Unanswered Questions

April 23, 2012 in Finance, United States, World

I figured out why the story about the Secret Service sex scandal won’t go away. There are too many unanswered questions about it.

I’ve said numerous times that I write this website for myself. If I don’t understand something, I write about it. I gain understanding as I write and research. Sometimes, I understand completely after one article. Often, it takes more than one.

It seems that other writers are doing the same thing with this story because it just doesn’t make sense.

Gordon Duff of Veterans Today lists all the reasons why in his article.

The link above will let you read it for yourself if you want the detail. The summary is that he thinks this was about an assassination attempt that went sour. He comes to this conclusion through deductive reasoning by saying there are just too many things in the official story that don’t fit what he knows about how foreign police would respond to the Secret Service in this situation.

For example, “Presidential advance detail, both military and Secret Service, have defacto diplomatic immunity.” In other words, local law enforcement wouldn’t arrest them for refusing to pay a prostitute.

Duff says this is a story even a child wouldn’t believe and it just isn’t credible.

What is really going on here?Question Marks

Another story that I think lacks credibility is the standoff between China and the Philippians over an area known as the Scarborough Shoal by the United States and the Huangyan Islands by China.

This little area of rocks and islands, blurred out on Google Earth – yes, I checked for myself – has been a source of conflict and dispute for years. The countries have agreed to disagree as long as each country’s fishermen can conduct their business in the area.

Now, there is renewed conflict over fishing rights and archeological vessels. This doesn’t make sense if the countries have agreed to disagree. What new event has stirred the waters and caused conflict?

This Chinese news source has multiple articles about the situation. Each article is written cryptically. Either the authors are hiding something or they are trying to figure out the situation for themselves.

Today’s post from Benjamin Fulford sheds some light on the subject. He says the vessels in that area are looking for gold. Yes, the Chinese gold sunk there in the first half of the 1900s. The same gold that is part of The Trillion Dollar Lawsuit and the same gold that is tied to the liens placed on the twelve branches of the Federal Reserve.

In addition, he claims there is a fleet of eight United States warships in the area participating in the standoff.

What is really going on here?

I don’t know the answer regarding either situation.

Therefore, I’ll continue to write.

Feel free to do your own writing below.

The Story That Won’t Go Away

April 22, 2012 in United States

Occasionally, a seemingly insignificant story on mainstream media (MSM) gains my attention because it won’t go away. I’ve learned that this is an indication that something other than the story is taking place behind the scenes.

Hotel CaribeThe latest story is the sex scandal surrounding the United States Secret Service. The short version of the story is that the advance Secret Service detail that went to Columbia for President Obama’s trip of the Summit of the Americas visited a legal brothel. After enjoying the services of the establishment, they refused to pay as agreed.

In the aftermath, agents have been fired, have resigned, and have filed lawsuits.

Glen Beck is scratching his head about it. He said “Something’s not right with this story.”

Some have speculated that Secretary of State Clinton’s office was upset because the Secret Service may have been the ones who released the pictures of her dancing and drinking in Columbia that weekend.

One thing is for sure.

After a week, this story just won’t go away.

Of course, it may just be election year politics. The Republicans are certainly using it as an excuse to bash Obama’s leadership abilities.

Or, it may be a smoke screen to hide something else.

Drake, who claims to be an insider spokesperson for the White Hats at the Pentagon, says it is a complete fabrication created by MSM. In his usual cryptic style he said, “The secret service is having a cow over a mess that does not exist… all of that is made up by mainstream media. The NY Times sez two supervisors are on suspension…not fired as reported. Everyone can take it from there.”

As I reviewed several lengthy stories this morning, I noticed they were long on implications and innuendos and short on facts, especially names. Even when names were mentioned, it was unclear exactly what happened with those people.

The story has become a mystery, veiled in secrecy, providing just enough information to cause the reader to wonder what really happened.

If the reports of upcoming arrests are accurate, it would seem that White Hats within the Secret Service would know about the plan. Therefore, one of the best ways to discredit those people would be to use the age-old technique of creating a sex scandal.

It would not only distract, it would discredit. It would cloud people’s minds into wondering who they can trust and which part of law enforcement is reliable.

By keeping this story in the public eye, MSM hopes to make it seem bigger than it is.

They hope to create confusion and chaos.

This would make it more difficult to implement the planned arrests and bring major change to the United States.

Therefore, the story remains in the headlines. Apparently, it will continue to do so until it has served its purpose.

Looking for a Hero

April 21, 2012 in Spirituality

During my last two years of college and for several years afterwards, I held a position with a local church. My responsibilities included teaching three classes for young adults: one on Sunday morning, one on Wednesday evening, and another on Friday evening. Since my goal was to get those who attended one class to attend all three of them, I taught a series on Bible prophecy. Each class answered questions raised during a previous class.

My plan worked. The attendance gradually increased as many of those who previously only attended one weekly class started coming to all three of them.

The meetings became the cool place to be on Friday evenings and it wasn’t unusual to have more people attend my Wednesday evening class than attended the church’s main service.

When I jokingly asked the senior pastor, who was also a good friend, why this was happening, he gave a profound response.

“You’re talking about the future coming of a hero. I’m talking about present responsibility. Most people prefer it when the spotlight isn’t shining on them.”

In the almost thirty years since then, I have noticed this isn’t only true with Christians. It is true with humanity in general.

We are all looking for a hero.

White KnightWe are looking for a knight in shining armor who will come in on a white horse and rescue humanity from our current situation.

Jews look for the Messiah. Christians look for the second coming of Jesus. Other traditional religions have their heroes too. Those who believe in ETs look to the skies for their salvation from today’s trials.

On a more earthly level, we look to The White Hats, The White Dragon Society, or The Oath Keepers to lead the revolution that will restore democracy, deliver us from The Fed, and give the 99% the opportunities only available to the 1%.

As I have lived my life, faced daily challenges, and had different levels of success, I have noticed that more often than not…

…you have to be your own damn hero.

Don’t get me wrong. It is always nice to have help, especially the supernatural kind.

The myths of something wonderful happening in the future are so prevalent that I have to believe they contain substance. Each story of help from The Messiah, Jesus, friendly creatures from another galaxy, or the Hopi’s blue star kachina resonates with humanity at a deep level.

The rumors of mass arrests reported by Drake, David Wilcock, and Benjamin Fulford feed our need for a hero.

I believe it is part of our DNA and, as a result, it is something we will manifest.

This in itself is not a problem.

The key is our response. If we are not careful, our response to this innate need, fed by current rumors, will take us out of the present moment. We will abandon our responsibility. We will let someone else, anyone else do our job.

Truthfully, this is how we got here.

We abdicated our responsibility to someone else. We relinquished our financial prosperity to the banks. We gave up our rights to prosper and live at peace.

Now, as we realize the consequences of our actions, we are looking for someone else to do the dirty work so we won’t have to do it. We cling to the idea of a champion.

May I be frank?

I believe the hero we crave is an internal emptiness that each person is attempting to fill.

I believe the hero we are looking for without can only be found within.

Supernatural assistance may be available. A revolutionary movement may be happening.

We are on the threshold of a new world.

However, for true change to take place, each person will have to be his or her own damn hero.
