Smarter Than the Average Bird

July 4, 2012 in Spirituality, World

Today, I’m taking a break from writing about all of the world’s drama.

Major GREEN LIGHT events may happen today. They may not.

If they do happen, I’ll respond to them tomorrow.

Today, I focus on my totem.

A few months ago, I wrote an article about how I was inspired by Rhonda Byrne’s book The Power to establish a symbol to remind me to be love.

Ms. Byrne, who also wrote The Secret, teaches The Law of Attraction. In The Secret, she explains how the law works. In The Power, she defines the power source behind this universal law.

It is love.

She claims that when you live as an expression of love, The Law of Attraction works automatically on your behalf.

Of course, during your daily routines, you often forget to do this.

Therefore, Ms. Byrne suggests establishing a secret symbol to remind you to be love. That way, whenever this totem appears in your life, you will be reminded to express love. You will be reminded that love, a force that is always with you, is alive and active and playing with you in a specific way to confirm its existence.

CrowWhile reading her book, I decided my totem would be crows.

Since that decision, I have been greeted every morning by crows. They call to me as I wake up from my night’s slumber.

Even though I may not see a crow for the remainder of the day, I can be certain I will hear them each morning.

Occasionally, they show up with interesting timing. For example, a pair of them is cawing while I write this article.

There are times when I wonder if the local crows are aware of what they mean to me.

Is it possible these remarkable black birds have some form of advanced intelligence?

If so, does this intelligence come through deductive reasoning?

Or, could it come through some type of 100th monkey phenomenon?

I don’t know for sure.

However, the video linked here provides some clues.

I encourage you to take ten minutes of your day to watch and learn about how one man came up with a peaceful response for these remarkable birds.
