What Must Be Shattered

November 11, 2011 in United States

I recently read this article online. It summarizes many of the issues we have discussed on this website so I decided to reprint it. I was unable to find the source so I apologize for not providing that. If you know the source, please send me an email and I’ll edit the article.

I want change. However, the more things “change” the more they stay the same. If we are to survive, we must experience a real, authentic, PERMANENT change, starting with the individual, whose thoughts, words, and deeds reflect into society and change all of humanity. Societal change will not happen before individuals change INTERNALLY. Professions of, “I believe, I am born again, or I am Saved” do nothing.

  1. ShatteredWe must shatter the Left/Right paradigm by dispelling any doubt that the Democrats and Republicans are one party that has successfully played the good cop/bad cop routine on America for years. One party runs as far towards tyranny as the people will allow, only to “hand the baton off” at each election so the other party may continue to run.
  2. We must shatter the paradigm that the Constitution is relevant. The President can unilaterally target a US citizen for assassination with no judicial review, no legislative oversight, and no administrative appeal to 5th and 14th Amendment Protections.
  3. We must shatter the paradigm that we have a functional court-justice-legal system.
  4. We must shatter the paradigm that the “Republic” can be saved-salvaged-restored. There never was a republic, so there’s nothing to save, nor is it ours to save. In fact, no private person has a right to complain by suit in court on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution, it is true, is a compact, but a private person is not a party to it. The States are the parties to it. And they may complain. If they do, they are entitled to redress.
  5. We must shatter the notion that we have or have ever had a government in this country. The UNITED STATES CODE legal definition of the UNITED STATES is “A Federal Corporation.”
  6. We must shatter the paradigm that if we can just get rid of the bad guy, even if we have to use violence, everything is going to be good. One just becomes the polar opposite of what they resist to the degree they resist. Being consumed with hatred and using violence against someone trying to take your freedom is the mirror of that someone using violence to impose themselves upon you. They seek to impose the state upon you, while you seek to impose your right of self-determination, autonomy, sovereignty, and freewill upon them. There’s no victory in opposition, only in synthesis, and overcoming illusory duality.

Darkness is not dissolved with blows or with atheism, but rather by bringing about the light. Neither is error dissolved by fighting it face to face, but rather by disseminating the truth without having to attack the error. However far the truth advances, in that same measure error will have to retreat. One does not have to resist what is negative, but instead one has to unconditionally practice the positive and teach its advantages by practicing. By attacking the error, we will provoke the hatred of those who err.

All the political changes are useless if we have not comprehended our internal poverty. The political system can change again and again, the social systems can be altered again and again, but if we have not comprehended profoundly the inner nature of our internal poverty, the individual will always create new means and ways to attain personal satisfaction at the expense of others’ peace.

Removing the Distractions to Prosperity

October 5, 2011 in World

Critics say that the Occupy Together Movement wants to destroy capitalism. Does it?

If we use the Declaration of the Occupation of New York City as a guide, we see that this movement wants to open the doors of capitalism so that more people may go through them. However, it is a stretch to say Occupy Together wants to destroy capitalism.

The game of capitalism, as it is currently played, puts excessive money and power into the hands of a small percentage of people. I can’t fault those people who play the money game and acquire significant revenue. In addition, I can’t fault those who don’t understand the money game and are losing it. This describes many people in the Occupy Together movement.

Humans have an amazing ability to recover from dire situations. Americans have a reputation for creating financial success stories. If that’s the case, then why are Americans choosing to show up in the streets to protest instead of recovering and creating success stories? I believe it is because they are distracted by two things: the loss of their homes and the loss of their freedoms.

Distraction number one comes from the debt created in the first decade of this century when the Federal Reserve flooded the economy with money, creating an economic bubble. This created easy credit and inflation. Now that the bubble has popped, there is less money available and the prices generally remain high. The only way to put more money into the system is through additional debt. However, the banks have tightened their lending requirements and fewer people are eligible to acquire loans. This situation has put many at the risk of losing their homes.

United States ConstitutionDistraction number two comes from the loss of our freedoms. As I wrote yesterday, numerous civil rights are being violated. The truth of the matter is that those rights no longer exist. They have been legislated away thought the courts. However, no one told Americans about this. Therefore, when someone attempts to make a stand based on the Constitutional Rights taught while in school, they realize too late that this defense is nothing more than quicksand.

I’ve discussed this situation with numerous attorneys. All say they don’t know what to do about it. They are telling their clients to, “Just be quiet. Don’t say anything. Just fade into the woodwork and let them forget about you. Something bigger will come along to distract them.”

This strategy leaves legal issues unresolved and rents creative space in the brain, space that would otherwise be used to solve the financial challenges. In addition, it allows the police state to continue to operate. Even those who attempt to fade into the background by finding alternative ways to live come under scrutiny for violating food laws, medical laws, zoning laws, or compulsory education laws.

Each experience leaves an individual disgusted at what has happened. From my perspective, the only way to change the system is to fight it through the courts if you can find an attorney who is willing to help. However, few people have the war chest to do this. Therefore, the situation worsens as individuals accept deals instead of trials so they can go on and live their lives.

These two distractions to recovery drive the protest. Americans and world citizens feel as if they can’t participate in the current system of capitalism because of these distractions, so they are seeking to remove them. Occupy Together is the method they have chosen. When these distractions are removed, a free capitalistic society can operate that allows all to play and benefit.

I’m writing about a potential solution in the Finance section of this site.

Republic or Democracy or Both

September 9, 2011 in United States

This article continues a review of Congressman Traficant’s 1993 speech, made on the floor of the United States Congress.

“The receivers of the United States Bankruptcy are the International Bankers, via the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. All United States Offices, Officials, and Departments are now operating within a de facto status in name only under Emergency War Powers. With the Constitutional Republican form of Government now dissolved, the receivers of the Bankruptcy have adopted a new form of government for the United States. This new form of government is known as a Democracy, being an established Socialist/Communist order under a new governor for America. This act was instituted and established by transferring and/or placing the Office of the Secretary of Treasury to that of the Governor of the International Monetary Fund. Public Law 94-564, page 8, Section H.R. 13955 reads in part: “The U.S. Secretary of Treasury receives no compensation for representing the United States.’”

That paragraph alone answered two of my questions. Yes, the United States changed. It changed from a republic to a democracy. I thought it was a stretch for Traficant to say that Democracy was a Socialist/Communist order. Later, I discovered that Karl Marx said democracy was the first step to socialism and Vladimir Lenin said, “Democracy and Socialism are inseparable.” so maybe Traficant was accurate about that.

Republic democracy flagsIn my subsequent research, I found that some people disagree with Traficant regarding the dissolving of the “Constitutional Republican form of Government.” In fact, it appears that most, if not all, of the fifty states have an organization with the primary purpose of reestablishing that form of government. These organizations use the dissenting opinion of Justice Marshall Harlan in the Downes v. Bidwell Supreme Court ruling to prove that two national governments exist. There is the democracy that Traficant mentions and there is the Constitutional republic form of government. It wasn’t dissolved. It was abandoned.

The Republic for Arizona website lists the history. I browsed several state republic websites and discovered that those organizations intend to force the elected public officials to restore the republic form of government through something called “De Jure rule” through forming Grand Juries for that purpose.

I sighed. I suddenly felt naïve and uninformed about the actual history of the United States. I began to wonder if I should continue reading the speech. What else would I find?

I took a moment to process this information and to see if it impacts how I live my life. Can I maintain Peace of Mind while living in a country that uses legal manipulation to create confusion and promote selfish agendas?

Yes, I can. Anyone can. The reason is simple. It isn’t what happens to us that brings Peace of Mind. It is how we respond to what happens to us. With those thoughts, a weight came off my shoulders and I decided to keep looking at Traficant’s speech because I was curious to learn more.

I’ll do that in a future article.

Who Are You and What Did You Do With Our Country?

September 2, 2011 in United States

United StatesI ask several questions on the United State page of this website. I ask these questions because I’ve been confused for several years about the United States. My confusion comes from what I was taught in school versus what I see happening around me.

As I read internet articles, chat with intelligent people, watch TV news, and listen to talk radio, I’ve discovered I’m not the only person confused about this. It seems that the United States of America is a much different place than what we were taught in school. In fact, when we start looking closely, we are tempted to ask “Who are you and what did you do with our country?”

The first three questions on the United States page are:

  • If the United States was founded as a republic, why do we now call ourselves a democracy?
  • Why does the Federal Reserve, an independent bank, control the monetary policies of the United States?
  • How do these things impact the United States Constitution?

I assumed that the change from a republic to a democracy was just a matter of terminology. The meanings of words change over time. I never considered that maybe the form of government had changed. After all, when Americans pledge allegiance to the flag, we still pledge allegiance “to the Republic for which it stands.” When we vote in a presidential election, it is still a representative vote. The total votes don’t determine who wins. The Electoral College, a republic election system, determines the winner.

The United States didn’t change did it?

I love to read history. A few summers ago, I read the biographies of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. The debate between the two men’s philosophies still rages. Jefferson warned of the danger of a national bank. Hamilton believed the bank was necessary. History tells us that both men were accurate. A national bank has become necessary and it may be the greatest danger our country faces.

Did the influence of this national bank cause the change in the United States?

I have watched in amazement over the past several years as constitutional rights have been eroded in the United States. I didn’t understand how this was happening until I read Paul Craig Roberts’ book The Tyranny of Good Intentions: How Prosecutors and Law Enforcement Are Trampling the Constitution in the Name of Justice. There, I discovered the court systems have been manipulated by those who work within them to accomplish personal agendas while destroying the rights of United States’ citizens.

Is it possible that this manipulation is related to the national bank and the change in the United States?

I stumbled across possible answers to these questions a few months ago. I’ll write about those in a future article.
