In all of the excitement over things that might happen, we sometimes forget the things that are already happening. I’ve noticed that traffic increases to this site on the days I write about earthquakes, financial catastrophe, and extraterrestrials.
I believe this is a combination of curiosity and an attempt to come to resolution over the things we face today. We sense in our guts that the Earth is changing. We know the financial system is struggling to survive. We realize the upcoming move to a peaceful society will likely include ETs, their technology, and their assistance.
Those things are on the horizon.
However, there are a lot of amazing things already happening.
I have discovered many of them through TED videos.
TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. The website for TED has, “Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world.” Each one I have listened to has inspired me deeply.
These are stories of everyday people using common-sense approaches to the challenges we face today. In our world of strife and division, we often forget that, at the deepest level, it is all about a yearning for love and acceptance.
For example, there is the story of a man in New Jersey attempting to get home on the subway.
Somewhere within his journey, he is robbed at knifepoint by a young man. He gives up his wallet and, as the young man walks away, he calls to him.
“It’s cold tonight. Do you need a jacket too?”
The young man is puzzled. No one taught him how to handle this in his Robbery 101.
He decides to take the coat.
The man asks the young man if he is hungry and invites him to go to dinner with him. Again, this is another topic not covered in Robbery Classes.
The young man accepts the invitations.
They go to a restaurant. They eat. They talk.
The check arrives.
The man says he would love to treat the young man to dinner. However, the young man has his wallet.
The young man gives the man his wallet.
The man asks the young man for one more thing: the knife.
The young man gives it to him.
A life is changed.
A moment of courage is all it took to correct the situation.
The man used the technology of his brain, the entertainment value of responding in an unexpected manner, and the design of his divine appointment to bring healing.
Today, each person stands at that crossroad. You will face a situation today that will be frightening at first glance.
Then, when you look closer, you will see that it is an opportunity to bring about the joy you long for, the peace you crave, and the love you desire.
Will you run in fear or act in courage?
Will you shy away from the task or will you respond from a perspective of technology, entertainment, design?
