Plausible Deniability

August 18, 2012 in United States

The manipulation of and the distraction caused by the upcoming elections will grab more and more headlines over the next several months.

The Republican National Convention is just a week and a half away. The Democratic National Convention takes place the following week.

The political posturing and heavy discussion of irrelevant items made to seem important will fill the airwaves, print media, and information superhighway.

Something of actual importance may even take place.

However, if it does, you will have to look closely to see it because it will be delivered with “plausible deniability.”

This term goes back to the Kennedy Administration when, according to Wikipedia, it was used to describe “the withholding of information from senior officials in order to protect them from repercussions in the event that illegal or unpopular activities by the CIA became public knowledge.”

Oath BreakerThis technique has creatively evolved since the 1960s and is now common practice today, especially when dealing with the media.

A sports organization uses this technique when it announces its complete support for its coach just prior to firing him.

Government uses this technique when it makes two announcements that contradict each other

For example, the post linked here reprints two articles. One quotes Finland’s foreign minister saying the country is preparing for the break-up of the euro. The other quotes the country’s minister for European affairs and foreign trade saying that Finland is 100% committed to the euro.

Stephen Cook, of the 2012 Scenario, comments on the contradiction.

My gut tells me this may be the new way things are being reported, as the new financial system is readied – and the public are, too. By having conflicting stories, you float the truth and the non-truth within the same government, so the truth still gets out; but the country saves face with the current powers that be… interesting strategy indeed.

It is the strategy of plausible deniability on steroids.

Report the story from so many different angles that no one really knows what the truth is. This technique keeps the general public confused and uninvolved.

This appears to be what the Democrats are doing with Hillary Clinton.

Yesterday, I wrote about an official announcement that Hillary would not replace Joe Biden as the vice-presidential candidate on the Democratic ticket.

However, for a non-story, it certainly continues to earn attention. The article linked here says Hillary wants to step aside for four years. She wants to run in 2016. She needs time to prepare by losing weight and regaining her energy.

This keeps her in the public spotlight, in case the Democrats have a sudden need for her to fill a void on the ticket. In addition, it allows the Democrats to say this is not an option so that if she replaces Biden or Obama, it will have the desired effect of manipulating the election.

By the way, I’ve noticed that politicians are not the only people who use this plausible deniability to their benefit. It seems that lightworkers have fallen into this trap over the past week or so. I’ll write about my observations in tomorrow’s article.

The Election Distraction

August 17, 2012 in United States

This is an election year. Therefore, the pollsters give the appearance of wanting to know what we think.

Over the past couple of months, I have received at least a call a week asking me to give my opinion on the candidates and the issues.

I usually ignore them or decline to participate.

However, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to answer the questions.

It was a frustrating experience.

Every question offered two answers.

Neither was one I would have chosen.

Furthermore, the questions showed such a degree of misunderstanding about our current financial situation that they insulted intelligence.

They asked if I thought if a balanced budget was important.

They asked if I thought Obama or Romney would be more likely to balance the budget.

They asked if I thought reducing spending or increasing taxes was the best way to balance the budget.

At that point, I was tempted to launch into a lecture about how our financial system really works and tell the pollster his questions were irrelevant. The federal budget cannot be balanced using our current system. A reduction in spending or an increase in taxes isn’t the answer. The only way to solve our nation’s fiscal problems is to use debt-forgiveness to end the dollar and transition to a method of trade based on something real.

I wanted to tell the pollster there is virtually no difference between Obama and Romney. Each candidate comes with his own set of baggage and I can’t see either man resolving today’s issues in a manner that positively impacts the general public.

I didn’t say this.

Instead, I stopped and breathed.

I finished the poll and decided not to do another one.

The experience reminded me that this entire election process, as it is currently conducted, is a distraction.

It is designed to program us to think in a certain way. It couches the issues so that we are discouraged from looking outside the normal political paradigm where we may actually discover solutions.

ManipulationIn addition, the election process is so manipulated that it borders on irrelevance.

Yesterday was a good example of this.

Mainstream media (MSM) was awash in rumors about the immediate possibility that Hillary would replace Biden on the Democratic ticket. At the end of the day, the official word was that Biden would still be running for vice-president in spite of his recent trail of less than politically correct comments.

This White Hats Report, released yesterday, purports a related scenario the Democrats could enact at any time.

Biden would resign. Hillary would step into his place.

Obama would resign. Hillary would step into his place.

Then, the election would take on an entirely different dynamic.

If you don’t think this could happen, I suggest you review the end of the Nixon administration and learn how Gerald Ford became President.

The intersection of information points to a still unresolved situation with Hillary.

The fact that MSM is talking about her as a candidate for VP so late in the process on the same day that an AM site proposes such a scenario tells me the official word released yesterday was not the final word.

It also shows how little influence the general public has within the current system. Those in power are manipulating the polls, the news, the financial situation, and the election to ensure they remain in power.

That is the real story.

The underlying election year drama is a distraction, designed to confuse us so that we react emotionally rather than taking the time to access the situation and develop a peaceful response.

To be continued…

The Story That Won’t Go Away

April 22, 2012 in United States

Occasionally, a seemingly insignificant story on mainstream media (MSM) gains my attention because it won’t go away. I’ve learned that this is an indication that something other than the story is taking place behind the scenes.

Hotel CaribeThe latest story is the sex scandal surrounding the United States Secret Service. The short version of the story is that the advance Secret Service detail that went to Columbia for President Obama’s trip of the Summit of the Americas visited a legal brothel. After enjoying the services of the establishment, they refused to pay as agreed.

In the aftermath, agents have been fired, have resigned, and have filed lawsuits.

Glen Beck is scratching his head about it. He said “Something’s not right with this story.”

Some have speculated that Secretary of State Clinton’s office was upset because the Secret Service may have been the ones who released the pictures of her dancing and drinking in Columbia that weekend.

One thing is for sure.

After a week, this story just won’t go away.

Of course, it may just be election year politics. The Republicans are certainly using it as an excuse to bash Obama’s leadership abilities.

Or, it may be a smoke screen to hide something else.

Drake, who claims to be an insider spokesperson for the White Hats at the Pentagon, says it is a complete fabrication created by MSM. In his usual cryptic style he said, “The secret service is having a cow over a mess that does not exist… all of that is made up by mainstream media. The NY Times sez two supervisors are on suspension…not fired as reported. Everyone can take it from there.”

As I reviewed several lengthy stories this morning, I noticed they were long on implications and innuendos and short on facts, especially names. Even when names were mentioned, it was unclear exactly what happened with those people.

The story has become a mystery, veiled in secrecy, providing just enough information to cause the reader to wonder what really happened.

If the reports of upcoming arrests are accurate, it would seem that White Hats within the Secret Service would know about the plan. Therefore, one of the best ways to discredit those people would be to use the age-old technique of creating a sex scandal.

It would not only distract, it would discredit. It would cloud people’s minds into wondering who they can trust and which part of law enforcement is reliable.

By keeping this story in the public eye, MSM hopes to make it seem bigger than it is.

They hope to create confusion and chaos.

This would make it more difficult to implement the planned arrests and bring major change to the United States.

Therefore, the story remains in the headlines. Apparently, it will continue to do so until it has served its purpose.
