Shift Happens
January 12, 2012 in Spirituality
I am convinced that we are entering a time when humanity is going to experience a remarkable shift. This shift includes a new financial system. However, there is much more to it than that.
It is a shift in how we live.
It is a shift in how we treat one another.
It is a shift in consciousness.
In simple terms, this shift clears away who we are not and reminds us who we are.
We have stored unwanted, unconscious habits of thought and reactionary emotions. We need to clear these from our lives.
This shift allows us to do this.
It is important to understand that when you release this old energy, The Law of Attraction says you will attract the things you are releasing. This is a test to see if you really want to release them.
If you simply observe their reappearing with a sense of detachment as they come up, without reacting to them, they will clear quickly.
If you react to them, if you insist on feeling guilty or worrying, if you continue to give them attention, these energies will not be cleared from you and you will continue to attract them.
This will make the shift difficult for you.
This is one of the reasons I keep writing about the new financial system. I know that each person must clear away their old way of thinking about money to thrive within this system. My articles are tools to help you shift to the love and acceptance needed to use the new system.
By the way, I know I cannot force you to do this. I can only provide tools. You must use them if you want to participate fully in this shift.
I recognize that spiritual evolution requires each person to accept or reject what is necessary for his or her evolution. I believe the new financial system will give you that opportunity.
This happened with me recently when I wrote about what I would do if one hundred million dollars suddenly showed up in my life. Instead of creating an elaborate plan, I relaxed into trusting the Universe’s perfect accounting system. I now know that everything that shows up in my life is part of the Universe’s accounting. This includes money, time, and relationships.
In fact, I see that this shift may make those individual concepts interchangeable.
For example, if you look closely, you see that the exchange between human beings seems to rely less and less on an abstract concept called money.
We exchange all sorts of ideas without the involvement of money. There are many websites, including this one, that provide information without charging money.
This website uses an operating system called “WordPress.” It is free, open-source software. We use more than a dozen free plugins to provide the slideshows, article lists, and other functions. The use of these tools, acquired without money, adds value.
This exchange is based on the desire to share and the need to make a contribution. This method of doing business is counterintuitive if abundance is wealth. It is the perfect way to operate if abundance is about sustenance and adding value to others’ lives.
This changes our ideas about value. It changes our belief system.
Money may become increasingly less relevant as we relax into efficient ways of trading and demonstrating love based on sustenance rather than abundance.
Of course, if we remain resistant to these changes, the shift will be tough. If we accept them, the shift will be peaceful.
Several readers have asked me to elaborate about how the new economic system will change the way we handle money. I’ll write about that in a couple of days. Tomorrow, I will update you on developments with the new financial system. Be sure to read this important information.
